Vintage skateboards have become very collectible over the last few years. While modern boards have the technological advantage, there is very little difference between one skateboard and the next except for graphics. Decks have become almost generic, while blank and shop boards are a mainstay in many stores now.
The basic 7-ply maple board is fine, but dont you sometimes yearn for a solid wood Bruce Logan Earthski? Or a custom longboard from Sector 9? Or best after all, my favorite wheels, Kryptonics? Big red Kryps, little green Kryps?
